This beautifully restored 1929 DeSoto K Roadster is a wonderful American Classic. First year DeSotos sold.
This auto was recently appraised by Collectible Auto Appraisal Service with the appraisal report stating, “This is a Rare vehicle and I was unable to find many comparables even after much Internet and Antique Dealer inquires. This is a fine example of an older restoration of this particular vehicle. It is still in very good condition mechanical as well as cosmetically. Told by owner that this is an older restoration. This has been a garaged vehicle for its entire life and it shows. Paint is still extremely nice except for a few minor chips, Interior and Top are also in very good condition and show well. All bright trim work is in very good condition. Overall it is a very good example of a 1929 DeSoto Model K Roadster.”
The original un-restored vehicle was from the Rutherford Ranches, Buda, Texas, located under roof in an open front ranch shed. This vehicle has been and continues to be stored in a garage covered with a custom made light weight canvas cover. Includes, “DeSoto Six Instruction Book, Second Edition September 1928.”
