71 Challenger V code 4 speed Dana
Description
First off this is NOT a number matching car!! But does have January 70 block and June dana car was built August 70... I traded for this car January this year. Was told the car was driver very little in the last two years, setting in the garage in Arizona. Last owner had it 15 years. Was told the tranz was rebuilt two years ago and new 143 tooth flywheel Borg & Beck pressure plate and dual friction clutch. (I pulled it all looks new and it`s a 18 spline) Since I got it I have replaced/done new radiator, starter, battery, rubber brake lines, master cylinder fuel tank & straps with 3/8 sending unit, rubber fuel lines, vacuum lines, sparkplug wires, front shocks, rear shackles and front and rear leaf spring bushings, had the shifter rebuilt by Brewer`s (bonnet style) and ALL new fluids.. Look like the trunk floor and rear foot well was replaced some time back was told probably when the car was repainted 15 years ago.. note metal parts would have came from a donor car, back then. Does have some rust on both front foot wells on driver side has/had rust though hole about size of a thumbnail but was fiberglassed over. (OK for you all OBSESS with Fender Tag) The fender tag calls for a shifter console it`s GONE and the brackets that hold it,, the car is 46 YEARS OLD. and also the stripe/decal is suppose to be white.. Also Dodge made 129 V code 4 speed that year. The car runs and drives good... for a 46 year old car https://youtu.be/xJ3XkevkzFs
