1941 Dodge WC-12 Power Wagon
Description
Found in field in Pennsylvania (2004), Disassembled, Blasted, Primed and painted Federal standard Navy color, was olive drab (Corothane II).
Axles inspected and reassembled with new seals, bearings and u-joints (as needed). Transfer case reconditioned(disassembled, new bearings, and reassembled). New brakes (everything) stainless brake lines. New stainless steel fuel tank, lines and carburetor(NOS). Blasted each rim, primed and painted.New(2015) 7.50 X 16 military bias ply tires with tubes and flaps. Had interior seating reconditioned and reupholstered.
Engine runs strong, leaks a little oil (seals) Original radiator Porous, installed radiator acceptable.Trucks runs and drives like a 1941 Dodge Power wagon. I have original radiator, Jerry can with holder, military rifle holder; all go with the truck.
As with all restoration projects, many thousand hours, and dollars spent. Truck is not perfect, but a fun around town vehicle, and parade car.
