1933 Dodge Sedan Delivery
Description
This is an all metal 33 Dodge sedan delivery with 33 Plymouth fiberglass front clip. The floor is 3/4 inch tubing with insulation sandwiched between sheets of metal on both sides for a smooth finish top and bottom as well as quitter, cooler ride. The body has been channeled over the frame eliminating the splash aprons, the rear fenders and running boards have been welded to the body for a uni-body type construction. The rear end is nine inch Ford built by Hudlow Axle in Rossville, GA and comes with disc brakes and four bar suspension with coil springs. (not coil overs) Front suspension is Mustang II with tubular A frames. All three doors have hidden hinges and bear claw latches but no handles or openers installed yet. Fire wall was extended forward to make room for my long legs and to allow for the master cylinder to be installed under the cowl, the filler tanks are under the cowl vent. The license plate flips back to expose the gas cap which is on a 65 Mustang tank fitting very well under the floor of the sedan delivery. Wheels and tires are not new but they still look pretty good. I registered the car as a 33 Plymouth since I have the Plymouth front clip and it also happens to be my favorite car but most of you know Plymouth did not make a Sedan Delivery in 33, I guess it could always be changed back. The wheel base was stretched a few inches to accommodate my running gear but it would not be hard to change back since the front horns are made from tubing. This project could be made into a beautiful ride by the right street rodder. Please ask questions and I willgetan honest answer back to you as quickly as possible, usually the same day.
