1991 DODGE STEALTH R/T TURBO 77K ORIGINAL MILES NICE CAR RED
Description
Here is a listing for my 1991 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo with ONLY 77,191 Original Miles on it!I bought this car in the fall of last year with the intention of restoring it.I bought it out of Indiana and unfortunately, for personal reasons, I have to let this car go.Overall, this car is pretty good but it does need some love. I have driven the car less than 20 miles since I bought it.
If you know these cars, you know that they require their fair share of maintenance and care throughout their usage and some of their gremlins will show their face regardless of the best care you can give it.
So, again, I bought this car in the fall of 2016 with the intent to return her back to how she was from the factory. I have always loved these cars ever since they first came out and this car was going to be the car that I had always dreamed of. However, I'm going to have to let this one go because unforeseen circumstances have come up in my family and I can't hold on to her.
Overall, this car is in pretty decent shape.
For the most part everything works pretty well. The cars engine runs strong and the turbos spool real well. I bought the car with an aftermarket full stainless exhaust system. The car has front cross drilled and slotted rotors. It also has 19" Sparco Racing NS6 wheels. There are some scuff marks on the wheels. They have 275/30/19 tires with about 3000 miles on them from what I was told. I have a file folder filled with receipts. The ECU was replaced several years ago. This is a 18 spline car. Full window tint.
I will give you a run down of what I know needs to be done.Mechanically:1. The transmission does have a 1st and 2nd gear syncro issue. It shifts fine if you are smooth and gentle but she grinds if you get aggressive.2. I don't have a receipt for the 60K service being completed but I took the timing belt cover off and inspected the timing belt and it is not original. I was planning on doing this regardless.3. The ECS system does not appear to be working properly. The touring light blinks on the dash. I have not had a chance to look into the ECS module and check the capacitors.
Interior:1. These cars are notorious for the driver's seat to wear out pretty good. This car does have some side bolster wear but not nearly as bad as I have seen on many other examples(See Picture). The passenger front seat and the rear seats are in great shape.2. The climate control display is not illuminating. It functions fine though. You can send these out to get repaired for about $100.3. The dash has the following lights on it: SRS light, ABS light, and Washer Fluid Level light.4. The power antenna is not working.5. It does have the typical dash vents that are cracked.
Exterior:1. The car was hit lightly in the passenger front headlight area a long time ago. It was repaired.2. When the repair was done, the front clip was repainted.3. The passenger side rear quarter panel is showing early signs of cancer starting(See Picture). 4. There are other little scuffs here and there around the car. I had planned to repaint the entire car anyway.
Please don't hesitate to email me with any questions. I will do the best I can to answer. These cars will continue to go up in value and I know what they are going for in real good shape especially with the low miles like this car has.
Car could be a fantastic option for somebody in the market for a fun project. Buyer will be responsible for transportation. Thanks for Looking!!!
