Description

This truck is my baby and I don't want to sell her but the Army is sending me to Korea for a year and then on to WA state and I won't get to finish her up properly and transporting her along with my other cars is going to be too expensive for a simple Soldier. I started with a bone stock 1990 Dodge Ramcharger and added a 5 inch Superlift lift kit with shocks and some Nitto Mud Grappler 38x15.50x15 tires. Than I pulled the weak factory engine and dropped in a completely custom built engine (still a V8 360 cubic inch 5.9) but this was purpose built to produce over 400 Horsepower. Specs on engine at the end. I mated this beast to a 4-Speed manual transmission from a 1984 W-250 Dodge pickup. It has a brand new clutch and release bearing along with a Centerforce Flywheel (CTF-700450). The flywheel was spin balanced with the crankshaft to prevent vibration. Still has the factory Transfer case and driveshafts. I have replaced the factory axles with used ones from a 1986 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4. I have completely replace all of the brakes (except the master cylinder). I also have a brand new radiator, electric fan, roll bar, dual shock steering stabilizer kit, new carburetor, carb spacer, air cleaner, Flowmaster mufflers and headers. I was going to use a bedliner on the interior so the front seats are unbolted and in the back and the carpet has been removed and disposed of. I will give you the can of roll-on bedliner and the 3 cans of spray on bedliner I bought to do this. The seats are in decent condition but I will include the seat covers I bought for them. Here is what I have into it:
1990 Dodge Ramcharger- $2200360 Crate motor- $2500Balancing the Flywheel- $250Manual Transmission- $700Centerforce Flywheel- $394Front & Rear Axles- $220Radiator- $130Radiator fan- $300Wheels and Tires- $1200Roll Bar- $50Front Bumper- $250Brakes- $300Total- $8494
That is just the large items I bought and doesn't include the countless hours of Labor. Here is what is left to be done before it is road and trail ready. The accessories need to be bolted back to the engine (they are all included with the hardware), the fuel system needs to be finished (from the filter to the engine and carb installed), the ignition needs to be wired (its a simple 2 wire HEI distributor), the exhaust needs to be done (will include 2 sets of headers, gaskets, collectors, and performance mufflers), the brake lines to the axles need to be replaced (i have the lines just need to cut and flare them), the brakes need to be finished (i have all of the parts to finish them), the rear wheel bearings need replaced (parts are included), put oil in the axles, hook up the clutch linkage and install the pedals (all are included). Install the Transfer case and driveshafts (included). That is everything on my list that needs to be done, and as you can see all that is required is the labor, I already bought or have all of the parts to finish it. It does need some body work, it was a northern truck for most of its life and has some body rot underneath. The frame and all important structuals appear intact, the body is rusted through underneath at the pinch weld. Ask for more pics if you are unsure of anything described and I will email them to you. I lost too much time recovering from shoulder surgery to finish it. I am only trying to recover some of the money I have sunk into it so I can pay for my move when I get back from Korea. Please message me for any other details or more picture. Obviously it will have to be towed to its new home, shipping is on the buyer and I will not accept any form of payment other than Paypal. This truck will be unstoppable when completed. Thank you for reading, Happy bidding. Engine specs are below.
