1965 D100 4x4 (65 D100 on a 61 W100 Chassis) 1961 Dodge Power wagon
Description
Up for auction is the perfect start to your bad ass 4x4 build! It is a 1965 D100 cab (manual transmission) installed on a 1961 W100 (Powerwagon) 4x4 chassis (both 1/2 ton) with Dana 60 differentials (from a 3/4 or 1 ton). Also included is a first generation swept line bed (currently uninstalled).
The cab needs lower rockers and floors patches but otherwise is in excellent shape. The interior is complete and is all in decent shape, there is some paint peeling on the dash.
The frame is in outstanding shape. It appears to be have been undercoated once or twice through out its life. I had to scrub undercoating for 30 minutes to even see the stamped vin. It shows no signs of even surface rust and zero damage. The truck has the big Dana 60 8-lug differentials and axles under it with what appears to be aftermarket helper springs in the rear. It has the winch PTO mounts with shaft attached.
The bed is in overall good shape. The floor has no through holes but does feel soft. It is not mounted so extra strapping will be required for transport.
Clear 1961 Colorado title matching the frame's stamped vin in hand.
Very low reserve.
I have access to engine, transmission, transfer case, PTO winches, random parts, etc, for sale separate to the auction winner.
Feel free to ask any questions, more pictures available upon request. The truck is located in Firestone Co, viewing is available with appointment, and delivery nationwide is available at an additional predetermined cost. I will meet your shipper as well. Thanks for looking and good luck!
