1934 Dodge Pickup Truck
Description
You are viewing a 1934 Dodge Truck. This is a short bed and suicide door truck.. perfect for the streetrod. In storage since 1972, the truck was from Napa, the premier winery region in California. Very mild weather. This is a great area for old cars. The only area of metal loss is on the lower cab back. See the image.
The cab infrastructure is very nice with only surfacerust and no actual metal loss.
The cab is straight and the bed and rear fenders are near perfect.
The front fenders are decent but the bottoms were they attach to the frame horns are removed. See image.
The hood is nice but was not the hood that was originally on the truck. The hood sides and tops are near perfect. The radiator cap is missing one of the horns and does not have the inner plate that tightens down the cap to the radiator.
The cab is complete with all the hardware for the window mechanismand door latch assemblies. The windshield also has the correct restraint arms and hinges allowing the windshield to open.
The original firewall was replaced to accommodatethe 1957 Oldsmobile 371. The engine has the stock four barrel and the hydra-matictransmission. The previous owner actually ran the engine. It appears to have run because it has temporary wiring in place.
The brake cylinders are new with most of the lines new. The truck has a new gas tank.
The truck has a California title.
The truck is also equipped with 4 new Coker Tires. Also included but not pictured are two pedal assemblies. One original and one firewall mounted style. The spare tire clamping assembly is present.
