McMullen Dodge A100 History Car
Tom McMullen's 1970 Dodge A100 Street Rodder Buildup Truck, it was Tom's project in the early 1970's and nothing on the original truck was left untouched. It has just undergone a 3 year restoration and is now ready to be shown. The truck had been stored for years but still had the original paint and interior that made good patterns for the restoration. The top was chopped 6 inches, all the interior was done in a Gold with Red Crush Velvet with red Shag Carpet, the original roll bar was rechromed, the B&M Shifter restored and the dash was pinstriped like it was originally done, all new modern wiring was installed so everything will work correctly, the paint was done in Dupont base coat to all the original designs (before the truck was taken apart stencils were made of the original paint designs). Everything that had been Chromed was redone, The original Tow Bar was redone, the bed was done in Red Crush Velvet with the Red Shag Carpet. It is Power by a Big Block Chevy 427 with a 671 Blower, Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission and Olds Rear End with Airhart Disc Brakes, the rear is on a one of a kind Air Ride mounted with all air shocks, the front end is a custom made tube axle with rare vintage Airhart Brakes, it even has the original custom made Moon Fuel Tank.If you would like to see the restoration you could see at website streettoysmx.com, it was a show truck in the 1970's and is titled as a 2013 home built with a New Mexico reassigned vin.
