This truck was purchased new in July of 1948 in Kalaspell, Montana and spent it's entire live there until I bought it. In 1948 all beds were black unless you paid the $16.00 extra to have the bed painted the same color as the cab. The originalowner did not pay to have this option so the bed was originallyblack.
The only real negative that I know of is the right windshield glass is cracked. This flat glass is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace
