Description

Nice dry southwest desert truck, this truck runs and drives, but, has not been on the road in decades. Brakes have been redone, need to be adjusted, new master for the brakes and clutch has been done. Looks like everything is there from the factory, I have the original plywood rear floor with the seat plates (no rear seat). It also comes with a nice piece of finish plywood to replace the original...
I bought this not running, installed a Harrison radiator from a 55 Chevy truck, new water pump, hoses, coolant, fuel. Instead of using the original damaged 11 gallon fuel tank, I fabricated a 42 gallon tank from a 1994 Chevy suburban. I have the original damaged tank, crossmembers, and saddle straps if you want them.
Also have the original side glass, I wasn't going to use them, was going to install custom laminated limo tint glass in all the rear...
I also have a set of factory bumpers and brackets from the parts truck, as well as an original rear body panel. I again wasn't going to use these, and go for more of a custom fabricated bumper.
No keys for the truck, I drilled the ignition lock, and start with a screw driver....seems to work good....the underdash wiring is in amazingly good shape, and didn't want to cut the harness for a GM ignition switch I want to use...I modified the brake light switch to a 65 Dodge truck type on the swing pedal, rather than the pressure switch on the master.
All the lights work! High beams, Low beams, turn signals, brake lights. The gas gauge hasn't been hooked up yet, and, the speedometer doesn't register. The speedo has been checked, and works when the instrument cluster was restored, my guess the bad part is the cable, its on the list of things to do for you....I need to move on to my other love...
The gas filler has to be figured out, I was going to cut a hole in the new plywood, and, just put an aftermarket filler neck in for now before making any cuts to the body. The original filler neck is included with the truck, and, the one from the 94 suburban, along with the gas door, and surrounding body to fab a custom unit if you want.
This Power Wagon has a 3" body lift that was done very well, its solid, and, serviceable....I also have the front drive shaft, the other 2 drive shafts have been rebuilt...
Truck also comes with the factory option 4 speed with granny gear, this is a nice upgrade, the 3 speed is original.Overall a nice project that hasn't been hacked up or butchered....I have a quart of base coat orange I was going to use to match the patina on the passenger side, it comes with.....
The 4 wheel drive works! Front drive shaft comes with, but, not installed, comes with all necc hardware(bolts/retainer clips) Transfer case is the original twin stick, Hi/Low, 4 wheel in and out works perfect....
No reserve auction..

I will also post a picture of the other 65 Power Wagon I have, it will be offered to the winner of this auction at a fair price.
