Absolute Auction, bid to win!
Do you have 48 hours to pay the deposit of seven days to pay the balance in full. I am relisting this car due to not hearing from the last buyer.
As some of you know, the Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo and Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 are mechanical twins with only a few differences in exterior features etc. These cars were twin turbo, all wheel drive and all wheel steering and were monsters in their day!
This car was purchased brand new in August 1991 in Michigan, it has always been registered in Michigan but garage kept here in Florida. It has been very well maintained by it's only owner who I've known for a couple of years. He finally made the difficult decision to sell the car.
As usual I will walk you around the car and describe it as if you were here looking yourself.
ExteriorThis car looks almost new and it is amazing. It has very few signs of use inside or out. However, it does have a few age spots. The front bumper has been repainted due to chips, etc. It was an excellent paint job with an excellent match. There are a few dings in the drivers door that are repairable and some paint chips on the hood and a few other areas that have been touched up. You have to look for all of this, the worst of it is the dings and they are dime sized. On the drivers lower side there is yellow road paint that splashed up a bit on the lower fenders. An obvious attempt was made to remove part of it which resulted in some paint flaws. I must stress, these are ALL very minor and do not detract from the appearance of this survivor car. Two of the wheels have some minor curb rash. The Yokohama tires are in great condition but they were installed seven years ago. There is some rust on the underside, non of it is rot but the suspensions parts and exhaust are showing some rust that has been treated years ago. From a few feet away this car looks showroom new. I would rate the exterior a 9 out of 10
InteriorThe only flaws on the interior are some minor wear on the drivers seat bolster and the shifter boot is getting very dry and should be replaced. Everything else is like new and the original front floor mats are perfect. Again, the car was garage kept and owned by a non-smoker, it even smells like a new car. Everything on the interior functions perfectly except the automatic climate control display works on and off and the stereo volume doesn't work in FM mode but it does in AM. The airbag light and the windshield washer light is on but the washer fluid is full. I believe these are very minor problems that are probably the result of sitting. I would rate the interior a 9.5 out of 10.
MechanicalIt runs and drives flawlessly. Never abused, tons of power, good clutch brakes and shifting. We recently installed new coil packs, plugs wires, ECU, clutch master and slave cylinder and it runs and drives just like new. It will need some exhaust work in the future as the original system is showing signs of age and corrosion. I would rate it a 9 out of 10 mehcanically
OverallThese cars were incredible and groundbreaking when they were introduced in 1990. This one has been preserved very well by a mature owner whom adored the car for the 25 years he owned it. This car needs very little to be absolutely perfect. How often do you see such a legend in such great condition that escaped the grasp of the street racing death and high miles of punishment so many were lost to? The car includes the original owner manual, one original key. Everything works in this car except what I mentioned earlier. All of the gauges, lights, AC, and power accessories work as they should. This car should be shipped due to it's condition but I wouldn't hesitate to drive it a long distance. All maintenance was done and it has had a new computer installed, which is a known problem with these cars. It scores off the chart on the autocheck report, 1 owner, no accidents. Overall I would rate this car a 9 out of 10.
If you have any questions, please text me preferably at 941-720-0300, my name is Jason. I will be happy to help arrange shipping at your expense.
I described this car exactly as I know it. I've driven it and it's a great car. Don't miss this opportunity to own one of the best sports cars of the 90's.
