Description

1970 Dodge W300 Power Wagon.

1 Ton Dually.

Repowered with 440HP rebuilt with torquer cam, high volume oil pump (55 psi at idle warm, see photos), new Holley 4 barrel carb, etc

Transmission is 5 speed New Process 540D, rebuilt

Clutch is a 13" from a D600.

Gear sets changed from 4:88 to 4:11 with new R&P's, bearings, etc.

Rear differential is Dana 70 with new Detroit Locker

Front differential is Dana 60 with new Spicer Power Lock limited slip, disc brakes, and power steering.

Both axles and steering gear are from a 1978 Dodge W300

Braden PTO winch, driven from transfer case for 5 speeds retrieve and powered payout, over 200 feet of nearly new cable.

Heavy duty Diamond 9 foot power angle snowplow included.

Engine driven high volume hydraulic pump with electric clutch for snowplow, and dump body if desired.

This truck was originally a CA fire truck in Marin County (have pink slip) which I drove to NH 30 years ago; not driven in salt since. Have original drive train, the 318 engine and NP435 4 speed manual go with truck, the Dana 70F w/locking hubs is negotiable.

Fresh professional body & paint job over solid sheet metal with photo documentation. There was minor rust in the floor and cab mounts that was taken care of, I did the left side with 1/8 plate steel and my body man did the right. Needs mostly details to be finished, wiring, heater install, exhaust, cleanup and painting of the remainder of frame and plow lift/front bumper (see photos), painting and installation of running boards and rear bumper, and back body. I have all hydraulics for plow control but they have not been installed and additional hoses may be needed. Other parts for reassemble that came off vehicle are included.

Has a full set of 16.5 tubeless radial tires all with good tread, front have some weather checking. Also included are six 16" lock ring type rims for 16" tube type tires.

Runs well and yard drives with fully function brakes (silicone fluid).

Eventually after the truck is sold I will be selling years of accumulated mechanical and sheet metal spares separately, including a second Dana 70F with original power steering setup & locking hubs, extra winch, transfer case, fenders, hoods, etc.
