Description

1964 W200 Dodge Power Wagon 4x4

1969 RB 383 Big Block Engine

Four Speed Transmission, Divorced Transfer Case

Mileage is unknown

Engine block casting indicates assembly at the Jefferson Assembly Plant, which I think mainly built Chrysler Newport and Imperial cars, so the engine is likely out of a Newport or Imperial. The previous owner installed it, so I am unsure as to what car it is from.I have not gone through the engine, but it runs well and sounds like it has a mild cam in it.

Original engine was a 318 with three speed transmission

Currently registered as an antique in Texas

Improvements I have made:

  • New Kelly Safari TSR Tires 235/85 R16

  • Late model 16” Dodge truck steel wheels

  • Replaced parking brake cable, drum, and brake lining

  • Horn button, wiring and horn

  • Replaced turn signal switch

  • Added grounds to all lamps (headlight, tail light, turn signal). These trucks are notorious for having bad grounds on the lamps. All lights work correctly.

  • Summit racing gauge cluster (oil pressure, voltage, temperature)

  • New Edelbrock performer carburetor

  • New battery

  • 1980’s dodge truck bench seat and seat cover

  • New front shocks

  • Manual choke cable

  • Rebuilt clutch, pressure plate and resurfaced flywheel

  • New clutch master and slave cylinder

  • Pertronix ignition

  • Mid 50 F100 Partspower steering conversion kit using a Toyota 4WD power steering box

  • License plate light

  • Professionally replaced front and rear window seals

  • Holley fuel pressure regulator and summit fuel pressure gauge under hood

  • Stripped and re-sealed fuel tank (using POR 15 fuel tank repair kit)

  • Cleaned and refurbished fuel tank sending unit

  • Juliano’s seatbelts

  • Replaced rear driveshaft u joints

****The following isinformation added based on questions that I have received.****

Title - The title is clean, however it is bonded because the guy I bought it from had titled it with the wrong VIN and the wrong year. So, I had the VIN corrected, had the police inspect it, etc. so I could get the title straight. In doing so, because there were no previous titles with the correct VIN, I had to buy a bond and give it to the state to get the new title. Bottom line is that, the bonded notation on the title will drop off in about 18 months and it will just go to a regular title.

The transmission is a 4 speed with granny gear, from the notation on it, I believe it is an NP 435.

There are three locations on the body with rust through, at the bottom corner of the driver side cab opening, at the bottom front of the driver side bed panel, and at thebottom front corner of the passenger side door. Floor pans in the cab havebeen replaced.
