1971 Dodge Charger RT, 440-6pk, 4spd, FE5 Red
Description
This Charger RT is 1 of only 80, 4spd 440-6pack cars produced in 1971.
It is one of the most highly optioned 6-pack Charger RT's made, including the following:
440-6pack (390hp), 4spd Hemi transmission, 3:54 Dana (Track Pack), ps, pb, p windows, Rally Red paint (FE5), black deluxe interior, concealed headlamps, louvered hood, black RT tape stripes, rally dash, console, tinted glass, shotgun tips, hood pins, (factory rubber bumpers added).
I first bought this car out of Maryland in the late 80's, sold it to a collector when i moved to TX, then subsequently bought the car back in 2001. The car was then treated to a rotisserie restoration by Jeff's Resurrections in Taylor TX ($85k resto w receipts). The car was then sold to a collector in Switzerland in 2003 and spent it's time abroad in a museum until 2016, when i bought it back for the second time. The car currently sits in my shop in Austin TX and can be seen, driven any time!
This RT has less than 44k original miles, has maintained all of its original sheet metal, floors, trunk, doors, has always been completely rust free, and restored to the highest of standards. The original, matching numbers engine, tranny and rear-end were professionally built and the car runs strong & drives tight! It has been sitting in a museum the last 15 years, registered less than 100 miles since the restoration, remains fresh and needs nothing!
This rare RT is documented by it's correct body numbers, matching numbers drive-train, original fender tags and 2 build sheets.
This is a KILLER, high impact, multiple-carburated, 4spd, all matching numbers Mopar!
DON'T WAIT! Once it's gone, it's GONE...
