This 1968 Dodge Charger started life as an original 383 big block car. As it sits today, it is well on its way to becoming a high quality investment build. It has been through a tremendous amount of work and has received new sheet metal through out. This Charger requires no major sheet metal replacement. All of this work was done professionally by a gentleman out of Odessa Missouri. He has done a few of these second generation Chargers, one that has won some awards and has gained some real prestige. The guy always does phenomenal work.
As you will see within the photos, the rear tail panel has been switched for a 69 and the marker lights have been eliminated. The previous owner had the goal of turning it in to a 1969 General Lee resto mod. If one were inclined to travel back to 68, the original tail panel is included with the car and it is still in great shape. Much of the body work is completed but there is still some minor things left to do. Around the marker lights will require work and there is also one small hole located on the passenger side cowl. It is about the size of a dime and it is solid around the surrounding area. The fenders have had work done to them and they are close to being finished. There is one small area within the drivers side fender that will need addressed and it too is about the size of a dime. The floors, trunk, quarters, doors, rockers, roof, a-pilars, frame rails, everything is solid and rust free. I found one small patch panel located within the rear drivers side floor. Overall, this Charger is not far from being ready for paint.
Included with the Charger is a 383 big block and a 727 transmission. All of the parts that you see within the photos below are what is included with the Charger. The doors for the car still have all of their hardware and glass within them. We do not have the remaining glass.
This Charger presents a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to buy right and build it the way they see fit. The best part is that the hard work is completed and the palette is ready. I can guarantee anyone who is interested that the car you see within the photos is exactly the same car that will show up in your drive way. We do have a clear title for this Charger. I do have this Charger for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell prior to the auction ending.
