Description
Up for Sale is a nice, very original 1978 Dodge Power Wagon 150, 4x4, stick shi, step side, short bed truck, this option setup is a pretty rare find. Truck runs and drives great.
Recent work to the truck includes new Rear main seal, new oil pump, oil pan gasket, new front crankshaft seal, new clutch kit, freeze plugs, intake manifold gaskets, rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, new belts, new brake booster and master cylinder, new steering box, and new air conditioning.
The truck also has a nice set of 33" Mickey Thompson tires, and American racing wagon wheel rims. Truck is stock height with no suspension modifications.
The truck has it's original paint, and is mostly rust free (it does have some rust popping up under the windshield just below the rain rail at the top of the windsheild), with dings and dents on almost every panel, what you see is what you get. The bed has it's original bed rails, but the oak wood is gone, a sheet of plywood and rubber mat cover the bed. It's missing the bed steps, and the hood springs have been taken off, but come with the truck. The hood has some rust underneath, should either be repaired or possibly get a new hood. Those are the only real issues that I can find.
The interior is decent condition. The floor has been sprayed with bedliner material. The seat is out of a 1979 Lil Red Express and is in really nice condtion. I took the original seat out. This truck is also equipped with the original tach (it's currently not working), which is a rare option also.
I love this truck, and wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere. Of course the truck has it's little issues, it's mostly original and 40 years old. It's NOT a show truck, and has never been restored. You don't find many of these trucks in this original conidtion.
