1968 Coronet 500 Station Wagon
Description
1968 Dodge Coronet 500 Station Wagon (6 passenger version - luggage well, no third bench seat)
Minimum accepted bid $4,500.
Vehicle was passed on to me from my father, who purchased it as a new vehicle (original purchase docs available). I have had possession for approximately 35 years.
Vehicle best considered a restoration project (or parts) and is not currently drivable. Vehicle will only be sold as-is, no warranty; all sales final. Purchaser must pick up; no delivery. Vehicle has been under covered storage for past 20+ years. Purchaser should expect to have to replace certain minor items if a full restore is desired (e.g. side blinker light missing, aluminum side panel stripping missing, etc.) Major replacements discussed in disclosures below.
Disclosures: Engine – Has not been started in over five years; last start, it sounded good, burns a little oil. Fuel system – Good from pump to engine; Bad from fuel (nozzle) intake through gas tank through fuel line to pump. Heating/Cooling system – Radiator cooling system last known to be fully operational; fluid leaks into passenger foot area when heat is on. Expect to replace all hoses. Transmission – Replaced about 20K miles ago (30 years ago); should be good; no problems known. Electrical – No known issues; battery most certainly dead. Body – Dents and dings in several spots; a few rust spots and wear-throughs (e.g. wheel well); wood-grain trim dilapidated; rest of body needs repainting. Interior – Interior is fully functionally intact, but needs overhaul (vinyl seats, carpeted interior, general cosmetic, etc). NOTE that the above disclosures are not intended to state all issues known or unknown. Owner reiterates vehicle should be considered a restoration project (or parts) and will only be sold as-is and with no warranties.
This vehicle is for sale locally also so auction could end early.
