VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Wow!!!!!!! This van is awesome!!!!!!! For old school cool it doesn't get much better or more original than this 1985 Dodge "Shorty" conversion van. It is all original inside and out with the most beautiful patina. It is 100% rust free and has been in California since new.
The van runs extremely well! The 5.2 V-8 starts right up, idles smoothly and sounds very healthy. There are no notable leaks, smoke, overheating or strange noises. The entire drive-train is solid and tight. The transmission shifts into all the gears and feels good. However once it warms up it slips in first gear. It is still totally functional and can be driven as-is.
The brakes, steering and suspension all feel great. The van has a nice solid feel.
Cosmetically the Ram is really a sight to see! It has the most attractive worn and distressed original coat of paint we have ever seen. The body is outstanding without a single spec of rust, repair, blister or bubble anywhere whatsoever. The van has a tremendous amount of character and the overall appearance is outstanding! Great color scheme and it looks like it could be on display at an art/car show. The chrome wheels are special in and of itself and really set the van off nicely!!!

The interior is in good shape overall, there is some wear and teat but is it clean and perfectly usable as it is.

Someone with some minimal effort can really do some wonders with the wood and interior, everything is complete. Nice table and when stowed you have a comfy bed.
