Description

Offering my Dodge 67 coronet R/T for sale because I will not be able to restore it anytime soon, It would be great to see someone finish it. It is a very good solid car. There is little to no rust in the body panels and all the floor pans, trunk pan etc. The body is very strait and rust free. This was an original black plate car from California which I think I have the original plates that will go with it. This car was in California most of its life and it is a very solid car. I contacted the Chrysler registry and have a copy of he build sheet and the documentation that the registry still had by 1 year. The car was built in Las Angeles California shipped on September 21, 1966. Looking at the build sheet this is probably one of the best color combinations to restore. Paint 881 bright blue metallic, trim P6W, white seats, black carpet, am radio, 323 limited slip, clock, light package. Again I have the build sheet. From what else I know about the car the last owner told me this is all number matching complete original car but the motor and transmission have been rebuilt to original specs. The seats have been re-done and I just threw in new carpet on the floor which is not glued down so you can see the condition of the floor. Everything is there and putting a bright blue paint back on the car is the main thing it needs. It needs to be restored but I cant think of a better example to restore than this one. Again the motor runs very strong, no smoke, nothing. The transmission shifts good. The car had been sitting for a while so I put in a new gas tank, new Chrysler electronic ignition and distributor, new Edlebrock 800 CFM carb and battery to get it running. The brakes were bled and work. This is a running and driving car and I also sanded the paint off in a few spots to check original stamping on sheet metal. The rear quarters are original and everything else that I could see. I reserve the right to end auction early for a local sale and no low ballers!! Buyer pays shipping
