Up for auction is a 1949 Dodge Route Van. This is a very rare vehicle and will be a great start for a build. Stand out from the crowd with this vehicle as your shop truck, motorcycle hauler, Ice Cream Truck, Pizza Truck, Taco Truck... you get the point. Keep in mind this vehicle is 64 years old so is going to need some work. Vehicle is non-running but original 1-Ton Truck 6-Cylinder motor and manual transmission is present. This vehicle has a DeDion Independent Rear Suspension which allows for floor to set very low increasing headroom and allowing a 6’6 man to stand up in the cargo area without hitting his head. Vehicle has no glass and two front tires are no good. Vehicle has two sliding pocket doors. Drivers' seat and post are present but will of course need recovering. Vehicle will roll enough to load on trailer for hauling. Please look very closely at all the pictures and let me know if you have any questions and I will be glad to try and answer. Title is clear.
