Description
1967 Coronet 440 Convertible383 Four Barrel - 727 Automatic
This is a wonderful old car! Sold new in Las Vegas Nevada where it was used as a parade car by a local dealer there for many years, it was then purchased by the current owner who has had it here Spokane Washington since the late 1980's where it has remained since. It is a VERY dry Western car, all original sheet metal, no rust or rust history, and very original only having regular maintenanceand a single older outer body repaint in the original color many years ago. Engine bay, door jambs, and trunk are all original paint as is the original engine paint. This car runs and drives very well, has great power and has a smooth quiet ride with the top up or down. perfect for an afternoon family cruiser.
This is a rare car being one of only 1,982 total convertibles produced, and one of only a handful that came with the largest engine available, the 383 4 barrel.
It's loaded with original options having the following original options:
- Power Steering
- Power Brakes
- Power Convertible Top
- Air Conditioning
- Bumper Guards
- AM Radio
- Multi-SpeedWipers
- Full Horn Ring Steering Wheel
- 383 4 Barrel Engine
- 727 Automatic Transmission
- Original Paint Color is H1 Dark Copper Metallic
This car retains all of its original factory installed drive train, engine, transmission, rear end, are all the same examples it left the factory with. It also retains all of its original body stampings, VIN tag, and Fender tag that it left the factory with. It's a very "honest" original car. Most would consider it a "Survivor" but for the one older repaint (which is showing its age now).
Go shop for a nicer car in this price range and you'll find a lot of junk and perfumed pig overbid auction junk. Refreshingly, this car is a very clean example, a rare find, and an exceptional value.
