Description

Selling my 1989 Dodge D150 pickup. I recently changed jobs and needed to drive a cargo van for my new job. Until 2 months ago I drove this truck to work and back every day. It is a very good candidate fir restoration. There are some rust issues and i have repair panels for the truck bed which is where the worst of the rust is. I will be happy to provide pictures toa serious inquiry. There are also a few mechanical issues but as I said this was my daily ride to work for the past 3 years. There is a broken exhaust manifold stud which creates a sound like a tick but is actually exhaust escaping. It goes away when the engine warms up. I have noticed since the truck has been sitting for 2 months that there is a brake fluid leak but leading up to the truck bring parked I had no brake issues. The engine starts right up and runs strong. Transmission is also good but occasionally shifts into gear hard when its cold. The passenger side window is off the track but the regulator and switch still work.the dashboard is intact but the fuse box is held up with nylon ties and the radio doesnt work. AC is the old coolant. The compressor was good but developed a gas leak and i never converted it to the new coolant. I only drove this truck 35 miles round trip to work each day so it wasnt an issue I cared about. The battery is less than 6 months old. The tires are about 60% with the exception of one tire which is 95% because I had to replace it because I ran over a large piece of steel in the road.. Overall this truck is solid and would make someone a very nice restoration project. I also have four brand new shocks to go with it.. I was going to restore this truck myself but life changed my plans.. I will be happy to talk to srious buyers on tbe phone once i know you are interested i will provide my phone number . thanks for looking.
