Up for auction is this one of a kind BEAST 1978 Dodge Ramcharger with removable top. Dodge only made these from 72-80 and most have rotted out or are gone. Blazers and Broncos have skyrocketed over the last few years, and nice examples of these have as well, but they are much harder to find. This one has a completely rebuilt 360 engine with aluminum heads, headers everything new. Only 600 miles on the build. Trans is a 727. Runs and drives excellent and sounds truly amazing. Body is rust free and paint is probably an 8. Few nicks and scratches, no dents or bad issues. Soft top is a bestop and in immaculate condition. Custom fabbed steel bumpers and step bars, the workmanship on these is incredible. Hidden 12000# winch in front bumper. Frame painted gray and is rust free. Chassis is 1 ton Dana 60 front and rear with locking hubs and 4:10 gears. Transfer case shifts perfect and front shaft is a brand new Tom Woods unit. 4H and 4L work great. Like new 37" military tires on polished out rare old school 8 lug slot wheels.Inside the door panels and gauges have all been redone and everything works, dash lights, lights, wipers, gauges, etc. Front seats are custom with harnesses in case you decide to go hardcore offroading.If you have been wanting a custom super cool 4x4 to play with, cruise in, offroad in, or take to a show, but get tired of jeeps broncos and blazers, here is your rig.
