Description

Up for sale is a 1990 Dodge W150 Power Ram. These old 4x4 reg cab short bed trucks are getting harder to find everyday. This is a great old truck and is a blast to drive. I bought it about 3 years ago and it was my daily driver up until last year. I planned on building this truck with all the period 4x4 accessories that were popular when it was new, however it has been sitting most of this year and I have too many projects as it is so it's time to find it a new home.What been done:6" Rough Country suspension lift, dual shock steering stabilizer, drop pitman arm,35x12.50R15 Hercules Terra Trac M/T tires with full size spare,American Racing wheels, distributor pickup,ignition coil,recent tune up and oil change,4x4 vacuum switch,new vacuum lines from switch to actuator,replaced odometer gear,new w/s wiper bushings and new rear leaf spring perches from ATS.When I bought this truck, the odometer wasn't working, I replaced the little plastic gear so it works now however I'm not sure of actual mileage. Currently reads 79,850. Runs, drives and stops pretty good for an old lifted truck. 318 V8 starts right up every time and just keeps going. It does smoke a little bit, probably just valve guide seals. I planned on putting a big block in it so i never payed it much attention. Trans shifts great and 4x4 is awesome. Rear pinion has some play. The steering coupler needs to be replaced as there is some play in the steering wheel. Borgeson sells a nice setup with a greaseable u-joint which is way better than the stock style coupler. Does have some rust but not bad considering this is a 29 year old unrestored truck. Both bedsides were repaired before I got the truck and they are starting to bubble above the rear wheels and there is a small hole in the left rear corner of the bed. The rest of the bed is super nice see pics. There is a small hole in the right fender down the bottom see pics. The drivers floor pan has a soft spot right after you step over the rocker. The rest of this truck is super solid including the frame and rest of the floors. Interior is really clean as well. All gauges work besides temp gauge which recently quit working. Headliner could use some help. This is a factory A/C truck but currently does not work. (blows warm air, probably needs a recharge) Heat works awesome and will cook you out of that little cab! This is an awesome old truck and is a blast to drive! It's not perfect by any means and does need some tlc but its a cool truck to drive and enjoy while making it better. It hurts me to sell this truck but I need to free up some funds for another project. I have some other odds and ends that I will throw in with the truck at time of sale.
