Description

1993 Dodge W250 12 valve Cummins diesel 4X4, LE package extended cab, zero rust, and automatic transmission with 87,500+ miles. The previous owner were neighbors. Truck was fully serviced at 84,000 before I drove it from Washington State to the Bay Area then to Texas, approximately 2800 miles in 3 days. It never missed a beat, just added diesel and it burned zero oil.

Mechanical - The suspension, steering, drivetrain are all in great shape, this truck drives/rides better than any first gen I have owned. It steers perfect, no typical Dodge wandering, stops perfect, drives straight, has cold a/c, burns no oil, mechanically it needs nothing. Starts at a 1/4 turn of key. Differentials are 3.55’s and has an auxiliary factory transmission oil cooler as well. The truck received a full servicing before my long drive from Washington. All the fluids were changed transfer case, axles etc...brakes serviced, new tires installed. If truck sits for two weeks in same spot - there will be no leaks.

The interior is all original and great condition. The optional premium bucket seats, the driver’s seat shows little to no wear even on the side seat bolster. The bucket seats are very comfortable, passenger side has some cracking on the tip of the vinyl on the armrest. Everything works minus the driver’s side power mirror when adjusting down, it works in the other directions; the passenger side works just fine. The radio is finicky and works when it wants to work. I was going to replace but I know this is a subjective thing, so up to new owner. The A/C is frigid and the heats is hot. Power everything, windows, locks, cruise etc...as it is an LE model. The carpet and upholstery are in good condition. The console is in good condition, one cup holder"bottom" is missing, likely removed for a deeper cup. The corners of the extended cab headliner are starting to fall, but not in the way, a piece of headliner trim is cracked. There is a mark and two small holes on the dash where I believe a compass was once mounted. Dash is not cracked. I believe the truck has the extra factory cab insulation because the truck is quieter then any 12 valve I've driven.

Exterior - The original paint was nearly perfect on the driver’s side but the passenger side was exposed to the sun (where it was parked) and was faded. I planned on keeping this truck so I decided to professionally paint the truck at a local shop that’s been in business for over 30 years, not a cheap Maaco paint job. I have photos of the original paint on both sides if you would like to see it before paint. The truck was stripped down to the metal on nearly the entire vehicle side, hood, and top. The truck was repainted minus the one strip on the bottom of the bedside since as it was near perfect. There are two small orange peel spots on driver door which is not visible in photos or noticeable unless you are standing right there. Slight ding/bend on the front bumper, it’s hardly visible. I found a period correct Warn winch bumper that I was going install to replace the original, it can be available with the truck. Slight ding at top of tailgate, hard to see in photos. It has full aluminum running boards, easily removed. The old man full length mudflap at rear has been removed. You're welcome to it if you want it.

I try and disclose as much as possible - I’m not dealer or a car salesman. I'm happy to send other photos. Please ask questions and I’ll answer them to the best of my knowledge. I’m sure there are other imperfections but it’s a 25 year truck with 87,000+ original miles; it’s got to be one of the better around, drives better than it looks. It’s not beat work truck, is rust-free, and clean with clear WA title in hand. I have perfect feedback and have sold several much older vintage 4x4 trucks and a few 12 valves over the years.

I'm more than happy to show the truck locally in Austin, Texas. If you are an out of town buyer, I'm happy pick up you at the Austin airport if my schedule permits. Truck is mechanically ready to drive wherever you need to go.

If you are serious buyer you know what these clean low mileage Dodges are worth, I'm not giving it away but not planning on retiring either. I'm likely willing to place a Buy It Now for the right price. Please have the funds available if you buy. I held this truck for weeks after taking a deposit from a local guy that could not complete the transaction. Vehicle is for sale locally so this auction may end at any time.

Please don't waste my time, I won't waste yours, thank you.
