Description

Expertly restored, terrific colors, nice features, a powerful V8, and four-on-the-floor: this 1969 Dodge Super Bee is exactly everything you want in a rare Mopar. So dig into all the details, because you won't be disappointed. This coupe has been under the same ownership for the last 27 years. The restoration was part of a labor of love where they were enjoying their dream car. That's why it remains looking so good today. The Mopar B-bodies were the... meanest street machines. You see it immediately on this one because the light blue metallic blue has a terrific modern clearcoat and a deep shine that highlights all the well-defined creases of this Super Bee's broad shoulders. It gets all of the performance pieces right, with the power bulge in the hood, sculpted fenders, and competition-style Torq Thrust wheels. And everyone loves the look of the iconic stripe package wrapping around the rear. But this one also has a premium side. The black vinyl roof looks terrific when coordinating with the stripe, and the bumpers shine like mirrors. These chrome kings look like the huge grin of a man who knows he can beat up every last person in the joint, but he'd rather just enjoy his beverage... for now. Open the door, and you'll find one of the best interiors around. After all, not many people have bright blue on the inside. This was an upgrade later in life during the restoration. So while it has the full look of a factory application, everything feels far fresher than the '60s. You paid plenty more for a Super Bee, and so the upscale bucket seat interior is a fine place to spend some time. A center console and plenty of wood-like trim are great classic elements. This combines with modern upgrades like the AM/FM/CD stereo and provisions for R134a air conditioning. Plus, with this big Dodge's generous interior space, it's great for family and friends. But you're the one who's always the most important in this hardtop, and the features prove it. The stick shift is exactly where you want to rest your right hand, and your left one will love the grip of the sports steering wheel. Beyond that, you have the full instrument cluster, including the desirable tic-toc-tac. You know exactly why this one gets your heart racing the moment you lift the hood. The 383 cubic-inch V8 in the engine bay is a period-correct version of this high performance Mopar motor. The whole presentation looks fantastically correct with the orange big block and bold Magnum air cleaner. And everything looks fresh, right down to the wires and hoses. But as you take a closer look, you'll also spot nice upgrades like the Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake that let this big V8 inhale deeply. And it exhales with a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. You have full control over this high-octane soundtrack with the four-speed manual transmission. As a well-respected classic this one fires up nicely. Plus, features like power steering and front disc brakes make it a fine cruiser. Complete with restoration photos, this is the sharp-looking and sharp-driving serious muscle machine. Don't let something this complete and desirable slip away, call today!!!
