THIS WAS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED NEW IN CALIFORNIA AND STILL HAS ALL IT’S FACTORY CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS DECALS AND EQUIPMENT INTACT. THE SCAMP IS PLYMOUTH'S VERSION OF THE DODGE DART AND BESIDES A COUPLE SMALL AESTHETICSTHEY ARE BASICALLY IDENTICAL. THIS LEVEL OF CLASSIC CAR IS THE TRUE GUILT FREE CLASSIC DRIVER. THE RETURN ON SMILES PER MONEY SPENT ON CARS LIKE THIS ARE AMAZING. THERE ARE VERY FEW TWO DOOR MUSCLE CAR BODY STYLE CARS OF THE 60-70’S THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR UNDER TEN GRAND NOW DAYS LET ALONE FAR UNDER THAT MARK AT WHICH THESE CARS USUALLY COME IN AT THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES AWESOME AS IS AND WOULD DELIVER YEARS OF EAR TO EAR CHEAP CLASSIC LIVING FUN, OR WOULD BE A GREAT BUDGET FRIENDLY PLATFORM TO SHOVE A V8 UNDER THE HOOD AND WITH THIS BEING SUCH A LIGHT CAR IT REALLY WOULDN’T TAKE A LOT OF MOTOR TO HAVE A LOT OF TIRE ROLLING GO FAST FUN. THIS LITTLE SCAMP WOULD BE KILLER JUST LEAVING IT OVERALL THE SAME BESIDES A FEW SMALL INTERIOR DRESS UP ITEMS AND YOU HAVE A VERY CHEAP MOPAR MUSCLE CAR WITH JUST A AMAZING SLEEPER. THIS CLASSIC MOPAR SPENT MOST OF IT’S LIFE IN CALIFORNIA AND WHEN WE FIRST GOT THE CAR IT STILL HAS SOME OLD PARTS WRAPPED IN NEWS PAPERS FROM CALIFORNIA WITH A 2009 DATE ON THEM. IT HAS SINCE BEEN A GARAGED LEASERCRUISER HERE IN WASHINGTON STATE AS IT WAS PREVIOUSLYIN CALIFORNIA. THIS CAR IS A VERY SOLID, NO QUESTIONS HONEST CLASSIC AND BESIDES A OLDER REPAINT IN THE ORIGINALCOLOR IT IS A ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. THIS CAR HAS SEEN NO WINTER ROADS AND HAS BEAUTIFUL WEST COAST FLOORS, BODY MOUNTS AND OVERALL VERY SOLID BODY AND SHEET-METAL. THIS CAR CAME OPTIONED WITH THE INLINE 6-CYLINDER THAT JUST WHISTLES DOWN THE ROAD, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND POWER STEERING THAT COULD TURN ON THE TWISTOF A FINGER. THIS LITTLE BABY BLUE BEAUTY IS COMPLETE & GREAT LOOKING DRIVER THAT HAS GREAT HISTORY AND A CLEAN FACTORY LOOKTHAT SCREAMS 70'S. THERE IS GONNA BE A TIME SOON WHEN THESE CARS ARE BRINGING 3-4 TIMES THE MONEY THEY BRING TODAY AND WE ARE ALL GONNA BE SAYING DAMN WHATS WITH ALL THE 70’S MOPAR PRICES? JUST TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE GM LATE 70’S CARS AND MANY OF THE CARS FROM THE 80’S AND 90’S THAT WERE AS AFFORDABLEAS THESE WERE JUST A COUPLE YEARS AGO :)

PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE IN DEPTH DESCRIPTIONS AND SCROLL TO THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE TEXT TO SEE THE 150 LARGE DETAILED PICS FOLLOWED BY A COMBINED WALK AROUND AND DRIVING VIDEO.

I AM A SURVIVOR GUY AND FOR WHAT EVER REASON LOVE AND WANT ALL SURVIVOR CARS AND TRUCK WHETHER THEY ARE UGLY OR NOT AND THIS BODY STYLE OF THE DART ARE A GREAT MUSCLE CAR / CLASSIC TO GET INTO BECAUSE THEY ARE A BLAST TO OWN AND ARE A FRACTION OF THE COSTOF EARLIERBODY STYLES. SADLY A LOTOF THESE WERE OFTEN USED AND ABUSED OR THROWN TO THE SIDE FOR OLDER BODY STYLES AND NOW ARE GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND ESPECIALLY SOLID AND ORIGINAL ACCIDENT FREE EXAMPLES THAT HAVE HAD NO TO LITTLE ALTERATIONS LIKE THIS 1973. THESE LITTLE BODY MOPAR CARS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A ATTRACTIVE CAR TO ME AND I'M GLAD TO SEE THEY ARE FINALLY STARTING TO GET SOME ATTENTION AND RECOGNITION COMING THEIR WAY IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. THEY HOPEFULLY WILL STARTING TO CLIMB IN VALUE AS THE YEARS GO ON AND THE AFTER MARKET INDUSTRIES STAND BEHIND THIS STYLE. THIS PLYMOUTH IS ONE THAT CAN BE PERFECTED AND FIXED UP WHILE STILL BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED DURING THE PROCESS OR LEFT AS IT IS AS A PLEASURE DRIVER CAR WITH A CLEAN AND CRISP ERA CORRECT LOOK THAT GETS A LOT OF COMMENTS AND THUMBS UP THAT I WAS SURPRISED AND HAPPY TO SEE!:)

BODY-THIS IS A NICE CLEAN DRIVER WITH A SOLID ORIGINAL BODY AND A NICE SHINY OLDER REPAINT OF IT’S ORIGINAL BABY BLUE COLOR.THIS CAR HAS NO DEEP CANCER AND IF YOUR NOT A PERFECTIONIST AND ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE LOOKING DRIVER QUALITY CAR THIS ONE HAS VERY LITTLE FLAWS AND COMPLAINTS BEYOND YOUR LITTLE SMALL ROAD WEAR THROUGH THE PAST YEARS. PAINT IS NICE AND SHINY, NO DENTS BESIDES THAT SOFT CREASE JUST AFTER THE DOOR ON THE DRIVER SIDE, NO SCRATCHES, NO LARGE CHIPS IN PAINT AND NO REAL RUST BESIDES A FEW RUST BUBBLES IN A FEW SPOTS AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE BOD. IT SOUNDS AND FEELS LIKE GOOD SOLID METAL UNDER THE LITTLE BUBBLES WHEN I TAP ON IT WITH MY LEATHERMEN AND BY HOW CLEAN AND RUST FREE THE UNDERSIDE IS I THINK IT MIGHT BE JUST FROM THE PAINT BEING NOT PREPPED RIGHT OR THIN ON THAT LOWER LIP. IT HAS YOUR TYPICAL SMALL STONE CHIPS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PENCILTIP ALONG THE FRONT EDGES OF THE HOOD, FRONT VALANCE, FENDERS, ALONG LOWER PART OF BODY AFTER THE TIRES AND IN A FEW PLACES ALONG THE SIDE PANEL OF THE CAR. ALL THE CHROME AND TRIM ARE IN NICE SHAPE THAT STILL HAVE A NICE REELECTION, BUT THEY ARE STARTING TO AGE ESPECIALLY THE REAR BUMPER. IN THE PICS THE PASSENGERFENDER IS MISSING THE SCAMP EMBLEM, BUT WE DO HAVE IT IN THE GLOVE BOX. THE FRONT GRILLE IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND ALL LIGHTS AND LENSES ARE CLEAR AND HAVE GOOD COLOR. ALL RUBBERS AND DOOR SEALS ARE ORIGINAL AND DO SHOW SOME AGING, BUT STILL LOOK NICE AND BLACK WITH LITTLE CRACKING AND KEEP OUT THE RAIN, BUT A FRESH SET OF RUBBER SEALS NEVER HURT AND ARE VERY AFFORDABLE.THIS CAR HAS A VERY CLEAN LOOK AND STANCE BUT AS MENTIONED ABOVE THIS CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DRIVER, SO THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT AND HAS NICE SHINE AND WILL GET COMPLIMENTS, BUT WAS NOT A 5 FIGURE PAINT JOB. IT LOOKS TO BE A SINGE STATE PAINT AND YOU WILL FIND A FEW SPOTS OF TIME LINES ON SOME OF THE TRIM, THERE IS A COUPLE DINGS AND A SMALL SCRAP IN THE BODY THAT I SHOW IN THE PICS AND VIDEO THAT WERE NOT ADDRESSED AND JUST PAINTED OVER. THERE IS SOME DUST THAT GOT INTO THE PAINT ON THE LOWER AREA OF THE DOOR AND THE PAINT GETS THIN IN A FEW SPOTS TOWARD THE LAST COUPLE INCHES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BODY. THE VINYLTOP FEEL NICE AND IS NOT DRIED OUT AND THE MATERIAL ITSELF IS IN NICE SHAPE, BUT IT HAS A COUPLE AREAS TOWARD THE EDGES THAT IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAD TO BE RE-STUCKDOWN WITH ADHESIVE. THERE IS NO RUST BUBBLES UNDER THE TOP, BUT THE VINYLDOES HAVE A COUPLE AREAS THE TOP HAS AIR BUBBLES THAT FLATTEN OUT WITH YOUR HAND. THE ABOVE ITEMS TAKE A FEW CLOSE UP PASSES AROUND THE CAR TO NOTICE AND OVERALL THIS THIS CAR LOOKS GREAT CRUISING DOWN THE ROAD AND HAS A NICE CRISP CLASSIC LOOK PARKED AT ANY CAR MEET.

INTERIOR-THE INTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS ALL 1973 ORIGINAL THAT IS ALL INTACT AND CLEAN FOR 46 YEARS OLD AND VERY RESPECTABLE. THE ENTIRE INTERIOR HAS NO SUN FADING WHICH SHOWS FOR THE HOT CALIFORNIA SUN THIS CAR HAS CLEARLY BEEN GARAGED. IT HAS FACTORY DARK BLUE INTERIOR AND EVERY PIECE OF FABRIC, VINYLAND METAL IS STILL AS DEEP OF A BLUE AS IT WAS NEW WHICH IS INCREDIBLE. THIS IS A VERY COMFORTABLE CAR TO DRIVE AND RIDE IN THAT IS EASY TO SEE OUT OF AND MANEUVER. IT WAS A LOADED UP CAR FOR 73 WITH FULL DELUXE INTERIOR WITH NICE CHROME AND WOOD TRIM. EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WORKS AS IT SHOULD EXCEPT THE RADIO WONT FIND STATIONS SOMETIMES. THE DOORS SHUT NICE AND SOLID WITH NO HINGE ISSUES, THE WINDOWS MOVE SMOOTH AND FAST AND ALL LOCKS CAN BE LOCKED FROM INSIDE OR OUT EASILY. INSIDE IT HAS A REALLY CLEAN DASH WITH GOOD COLOR THAT HAS NO FADING AND NICE TRIM, CRYSTAL CLEAR GAUGES ALONG WITH ALL SAFETY AND ENGINE VIDAL LIGHTS THAT WORK AND THE DASH PAD HAS JUST A COUPLE SMALL CRACKS. THE PASSENGER DOOR PANEL IS IN EXCELLENT TO NEAR PERFECT SHAPE AND THE DRIVER DOOR PANEL IS IN NICE SHAPE WITH JUST A LITTLE BREAKDOWN AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE PANEL AND A AREA TOWARD THE TOP. THE REAR PACKAGE TRAY THAT LAYS BENEATH THE REAR GLASS IS IN AMAZING SHAPE AS THEY ARE JUST CARDBOARDAND DETERIORATEQUICKLY. THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE PANELS ARE NEAR PERFECT AND THE HEADLINER IS NICE AND TIGHT WITH NO SAG, DOME LIGHT IS STILL INTACT AND THERE IS JUST A COUPLE LITTLE MARKS IN THE LINER NEAR THE LIGHT. BOTH VISORS MOVE SMOOTHLY AND STAY UP, THE REAR SEAT LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN RARELY USED AND IN EXCELLENT SHAPE AND THE FRONT SEAT IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO HOLE, CUSHION BREAKDOWN OR SIDE DAMAGE, BUT A FEW OF THE PLEATS HAVE COME UN-SEWN AND CAN EASILY BE PULLED BACK TOGETHER AND SEWN BACK UP. REALLY THE ONLY AREA THAT HAS MAJOR WEAR IS THE CARPET. THE REAR AREA IS IN NICE SHAPE SHOWING VERY LITTLE AGE OR USE, BUT OF FRONT IT IS COMING APART ON BOTH SIDES AND HAS FLOORMATS OVER TO KEEP IT LOOKING GOOD. THE HEATER WORKS GOOD WITH SMOOTH MOVING CLIMATE LEVERS AND A NICE QUIET BLOWER MOTOR. INSIDE THE TRUCK ITS VERY NICE UNDER THE TRUNK LID WITH NO RUST, THE ORIGINAL AND JACK ARE ALL INTACT ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL RUBBER MAT, BUT IT IS STARTING T FALL APART. OVERALLTHE NEARLY 50 YEAR OLD INTERIOR LOOKS GREAT AND REALLY IS IN AMAZING SHAPE IN MOST OF IT. WITH A MINOR SEAT AND DOOR PANEL FIX ALONG WITH SOME NEW CARPET UP FRONT AND THIS INTERIOR WOULD BE PERFECT!

MECHANICAL- THIS CAR CLEARLY ISN'T EAT OFF IT SPOTLESS, BUT FOR BEING A 73 AND ALL UN TOUCHED FACTORY ORIGINAL SURVIVOR IT IS VERY SOLID, SANITARY, HONEST AND DRY UNDER THE HOOD AND ALONG THE UNDERSIDE. YOU CAN SEE ALL FACTORY DECALS CLEARLY UNDER THE HOOD AND EVERYTHING IS UNTOUCHED UNDER THE HOOD, THERE IS NOT ONE BOLT OR COMPONENT MISSING OR OUT OF ALIGNMENT. IT HAS THE STRONG 225 INLINE 6 MOTOR AND AUTO TRANSMISSION. ELECTRIC CHOKE CARB THAT HELPS THIS CAR TO ALWAYS FIRE RIGHT UP. THIS MOTOR PULLS STRONG WITH NO SMOKING, LOADING UP, TICKING OR HESITATION AND SOUNDS GREAT WITH A VERY QUIET AND SMOOTH SEWING MACHINE LIKE SOUND. THE 3-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANS SHIFTS NICE AND QUICK WITH NO HESITATING OR SLOPPY SHIFTS. THIS PLYMOUTH DOWN SHIFTS QUICKLY AS IT SHOULD UNDER HEAVY ACCELERATION AND UP SHIFTS SMOOTHLY AND CONSISTENTLY THROUGH THE GEARS. THIS CAR STEERS VERY TIGHT AND TRACKS STRAIGHT WITH A ONE FINGER LIKE DRIVE, SOLID SMOOTH BRAKES THAT DO NOT PULL OR SHAKE. WHILE THIS BLUE BABY WON’T BE GETTING TOP NUMBERS AT THE BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS FOR TOP SPEED, IT DOES RUN DEPENDABLY AND ITS AS GOOD AS IT WAS IN THE 70’S. IT PROBABLY COULD USE A COUPLE SMALL ITEMS UNDER THE HOOD HERE AND THERE JUST TO GET IT UP TO DATE, BUT SHE DRIVES AND RUNS GREAT AS IS AND THIS CAR REALLY IS A LOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK AND IS A GET IN AND DRIVE RIDE!

WHILE I KNOW EVERYONE'S OPINION IS DIFFERENT THIS CAR TO ME IS EVERYTHING A OLD CAR SHOULD BE, WHILE IT HAS SOME MINOR FLAWS SHOWING ITS JOURNEY AND STORY, IT MAKES SOME IN CABIN NOISES WHILE AT HIGH SPEEDS, BUT IT STILL CLEANS UP NICE, GETS COMPLIMENTS, STARTS CONVERSATIONS WITH STRANGERS AND COMPLETES ANY JOB IT IS ASKED TO. THIS CAR FULFILLS THAT OLD CAR NEED AND FEELING MOST ARE LOOKING FOR, BUT IF YOU HAVE NOT EVER OWNED OR DRIVEN A VEHICLE OF THIS AGE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOUSIMPLY LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF MODERN INVENTIONS THAT HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED SINCE THIS CAR WAS BORN AND HOW FAR OTHER ITEMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER THE PAST FEW DECADESAND KEEP IN MIND NEW VEHICLES HAVE THE BOXES TO CHECK FOR COMFORT OPTIONS LIKE COOLED & HEATED SEATS, NAVIGATION ETC AND VEHICLES OF THIS ERA LOADED MEANT GETTING FM STEREO, A/C AND A POWER STEERING:)

The older the car, the harder it is to define the condition of thevehicle. Most of our vehicles are specialty vehicles or are 15+ yearsold, and usually trucks. Because of this, it is very difficult to describe each vehicle to everyone’s satisfaction. Based on the bidder'spersonal experience, some bidders will be overly pleased with mydescription and pictures, and others may feel that I fell short. I postthese auctions based on how I want to see auctions when I’m buying, keeping in mind what I look for, and I try to put your eyes to what Ican see and touch. Please help me by asking all questions and letting me know if other pictures are wanted. If you do not see a pic or description of an item or a area on the truckplease do not assume anything and ask me about the specifics you’re aneeding or for more pics and I will post every question asked by members so all potential bidders can see. Every car is available for inspectionand I personally drive each vehicle before listing it and If anything does not work properly I will let you know. Of course, I amonly human, and these are mechanical creatures, and these are usedvehicles, so please keep this in mind when bidding.
