1969 Dodge Charger 472 HEMI

Description

For auction is a 1969 Dodge Charger 472 Hemi. I purchased this car in 2012 from the 3rd owner. This car spent the majority of its life in Califorina and Arizona before being brought to Ohio in 2012. This car has all original sheet metal, nothing on the body has been replaced. Car was originally a 318 Automatic car with air. Original quarter panels, floor pans, trunk floor, trunk extensions, hood, front fenders are all original. ZERO rust on body. When I purchased the car small pin holes of rust were beginning to form at bottom of front and rear windshields. I had the glass removed and new metal installed and re painted. Car wasoriginallypainted Gold with tan interior. Car was put in black primer in 2011. Interior is all original with the exception of a Tic Toc Tach and black carpet with dynomat installed under carpet.
Completedrive trainreplacementin winter of 2013. Installed a MOPAR 472 Hemi crate engine with a Richmond 5 speed transmission.The cam is a hydraulic type with 0.524 in. of intake lift, 0.507 in. of exhaust lift, and292 degrees duration. Engine produces 565 horsepower and 554 ft-lbs of torque. Currently running two 600 Holley carbs using Mopar dual carb intake.McLeod clutch rated for 800 horsepower.Engine and transmission currently has 2834 miles on it. Engine is runningceramiccoated Hooker long tube headers with 3 inch exhaust into Flow Master Mufflers. Also running Doug's Electric exhaust cutouts. Full MSD ignition ( MSDdistributor, MSD 6AL box, and MSD plug wires.) Walker radiator, Vehicle never gets about 185 degrees with AC on. Vehicle also running a full Bouchillon Performance R134A AC system.Heater and AC are controlled using factory AC controls. Rear end is a Moser Dana 60 with 4.10 gears.
SuspensionincludesReilly Motorsports complete front and rear suspension kits. Front kit uses tubular K member, Upper and Lower tubular control arms. Fox body mustang rack and pinion. 1 1/16 sway bar. Rear kit is a completetriangulated4 link system. Fully adjustable Viking coilovers on front and rear. Aerospace Components front and rear brakes include cross drilled and slotted rotors 235/50/17 Michelin Pilot sport on front and 275/50/17 M&H Racemaster . All suspension and brake upgrades completed in April of 2013. Wheels and tires installed May 2015
My goal with this car was to build a pro touring, high horsepower cruiser. I built this vehicle with the goal of being able to drive it anywhere in the country and beingcomfortabledoing so.
