Description

1973 Dodge W100 Power Wagon, Barn Find, great project truck.
These trucks are tough as nails and equipped nicely from the factory. Comes with a smog exempt 318 V8, NP435 manual 4-speed with granny low 1st gear, NP205 divorced transfer case, Dana 44 front axle and Corporate 8 3/4" rear end, power steering and power brakes. Engine runs great and fires right up. Was rebuilt at 112,495 miles on July 2004. Truck currently has 121,043 miles.
I purchased this truck in December of 2015 with the desire to restore it in a Macho Power Wagon clone, but priorities have changed and we're buying a house instead. Truck is currently on non-op status and all CA DMV fees are current.
The Good:Barn find, great project, rare and hard to find truck, original paint, body in good condition for age, engine runs great, transmission and transfer case work great, sunroof, upgraded off road seats, winch bumper (not installed but included), optima red top battery, tow hitch, frame straight, clean title, zero accident from what I can tell. LOW RESERVE. Has new carpet kit and upgraded off road seats.
What it needs:Front windshield has hole, small amount of rust in passenger floor board and drivers door bottom right, damaged to right rear fender (have replacement part see photo), needs new tires, needs to be baselined (fluids changed, mechanical systems looked over), front axle has grinding noise only when in 4wd. I haven't had time to look into it and tell if it's just a hub which would be a cheap easy fix or something else.
Truck is available for inspection, feel free to ask any questions and I will answer to the beat of my knowledge. I have a video clip of the truck starting and running I can send if interested. Sold as is, where is condition. If buyer arranges and pays for shipping will assist in loading.
I owned a 1974 Power Wagon in college and have always loved these trucks. Their fun to drive, very tough, have a lot of torque and low gearing, and something you don't see everyday. Classic 4x4's are the next classics going up in value, this would make a great father son project that will appreciate rather than depreciating.
