1978 Dodge Monaco partially restored
Description
Up for sale is my 1978 Dodge Monaco. I've had it for about four years and started off working on it myself, before deciding to have all of the work completed by professionals. The engine, transmission, and brakes were rebuilt by East Texas Automotive (known as Ray Auto Service at the time) and the body work and paint were completed by Edwards Collision...both reputable companies in Tyler, Texas.
Hate to sell it, but I have absolutely no time for it anymore and would love to see it go to someone who will take care of it and finish off the restoration. It would take VERY little work to make this Monaco a daily driver! I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have, so ask away!
Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. I prefer cash and pickup at my home in Whitehouse, Texas. However, I can make arrangements to ship the vehicle to your location upon completion of payment.
On Nov-26-16 at 15:57:51 PST, seller added the following information:I had a question earlier today from another buyer that I didn't think to include in the listing. The buyer asked about the condition of the trunk floor and floor pans. Floor pans are fine. I had the carpet out an replaced it with new carpet a couple of years ago. Trunk floor is rusty and has a couple of holes here and there. Structurally, it still holds everything I need it to. I didn't bother to have it replaced because I haven't had the chance to do the weather stripping yet. I think I mentioned the need for windshield wiper linkage and turn signals not working (has a new switch...but still not working) All other inspection tested lights work. Also, engine still needs final tuning after rebuild. Will try to do that BEFORE it sells, but it's doubtful that I will. Could use a new battery. Trying to think of EVERYTHING.
