Description

1971 Dodge Demon. Its a original small block v8 car. Has California plates with current tags, and clean title. This was originally a factory 3 speed manual on the column. Still has the manual pedals, just missing the clutch pedal. Ready to convert to a 4 speed if desired, but now has a automatic 904.Manual steering and brakes. Nice front bucket seats, and a cloth black rear seat all are in good shape, with no tears. Has a large bolt 8-3/4 rear end with 11" drums. Does have a few dings and dents, but solid. Frame rails are solid. The drivers side front frame rail does have a rip from what appears to be from a tow hook, but is solid. Some body work was started by previous owner, with installing lower patch panels from a doner. No bondo though, and still has most of the original paint. New spare tire well was installed in the trunk. Does have a couple of areas that will still need attention with metal work. I have tried to take photos to show the car as it is. It really is a very solid car. All the headliner bows, seat belts, including the shoulder strap, both sun visors, all the window trim, headlight buckets with bulb ring, all there and in good shape. Dash pad is sun damage. Tires are like new. Stock 14'' rims with cop caps that are nice.
The 318 is from a '69 and ran fine when pulled a few years back. Has a new water pump, and new remanoriginal starter, with battery/starter cable. Needs exhaust pipes hooked to manifolds. Motor cranks over now, by jumping a screwdriver across relay on inner fender. Engine wiring harness is hooked up. It will need to have the wiring finished up from fuse block, adjust timing, hook to fuel tank lines, and ad a couple of hose clamps. Has spark. The fuel tank looks clean, so shouldn't take much. Missing one tank strap. New balanced driveline with u-joints is installed. A floor mounted transmission shifter needs to be completed. Comes with a original shifter, but maybe easier to go with a b&m or similar. The E-body 4 speed hump looks like it will work for mounting the shifter. Front suspension is original, and will need new bushings. Have 2 ignition keys, but no door or trunk. No fender tag, but has original VIN tag on dash, and sticker on drivers door. This is a rare Mopar A-body. Many consider the 1971 model to be the most desirable of the two, with the optional twin hood scoops, and a '71 go-wing. Scoops shown are not attached, but include all the mounting studs. Also included is a spare set of original Dart fenders that are in good shape. I can assist with transporter, and have a couple of references. Buyer is responsiblefor paying the transport/shipping company directly. Payment for the car will be accepted by cash,or direct deposit transfer. I will only take PayPal for a $300 non refundable deposit within 24 hrs of purchase.
