1971 Dodge D100 Sweptline Rat Rod
Description
I've decided to sell my old Rat Rod Truck to pay some bills. This is a drive anywhere anytime truck, ready for cruise ins or drive it across the country. Many upgrades and modifications to the drivetrain and brakes such as:.030 over 318 with Keith Black Hyper pistonsEdelbrock aluminum heads with aluminum roller rockersWeiand intake with Holley 670 Street AvengerRebuilt 727 with shift kit and 2500 stall converter3.73 8.75" Sure Grip differentialFront disc brake conversionHeaders and FlowmastersCustom billet instrument panelAs you can see from the pictures the truck was built to look rough on the outside but everything else that you can't see at first is done right and looks nice. The truck has its stock suspension and drives as it should. While not a ground pounding drag engin, it does sound great and will hold its own against a lot of people who are surprised when they get left behind by an old rough looking truck!I forget the grind on the cam but it's a mild Crane with just the right rumble.I never intended to sell this truck so I didn't keep the receipts as I built it over time. I have a remote camera and we could remove a spark plug to view the pistons. The build has around 20,000 miles on it and has never let me down. All new parts were used when putting it together such as seals, wheel bearings, kingpins, etc.The bed has no bondo and very little rust for this year. Most guys think it has new bed sides on it but they are original. I sanded them down and painted the, kinda liked the look and never did the cab. The cab isn't as solid as the bed but still presentable as Rat rods go.I'm sure you have questions and I know I haven't covered everything so please ask and bid to buy!
