1977 was the first year for the golden eagle. It was only available in (7E) Oakleaf Brown. With the last year of the Wrangler JK 2018 models, the golden eagle has reappeared, a fitting tribute to a end of an era.
On May-12-18 at 09:58:47 PDT, seller added the following information:This Jeep has been totally restored. It was sanded down and repainted from original paint found on the shifter plate. The original transmission was rebuilt using new gears, the transfer case had bearings and seals replaced. It has a ranchero 3" lift kit, runck bumpers and side steps. New exhaust. The original 304 is available but not currently installed. It has a 360 40 over, with a comp cam extreme energy cam. All original gauges work, except for the rpm gauge. I have a brand new cassette player and speakers that are not installed. I have the original tires, too. One is installed on the spare, just for nostalgias sake. The others are available, if wanted. The seats are leather with Levi buttons. The rear is not installed, but is included. The original whitco top is in bad shape. The doors are decent. I just went with a bikini top, instead. I have a hard top and doors, that need to be painted, that go with it, if wanted. This is a terrific, and very rare Jeep, that you don't see very often. There's only about 500 miles on it since restoration. It is garage kept. The 70 's are calling.....are you going to answer? Thanks for, looking!
