This car is a monster. $150,000 invested. 427cid Ford engine 665hp @ 6300rpm /631ft-lbs @ 4900rpm (The engine and transmission currently have 20 miles on them, the rear end has about 150). Makes 400ft-lbs of torque at 2,000 rpm. Car weighs under 2,800lbs. Do the math. She is fast. Can spin the tires @ 150mph in 5th gear. (I know because I have done it - not on purpose) Suspension is firm but not harsh because of the huge sway bar up front which allows softer springs. It is set up for road racing but can be driven on the street. Car has done 167mph at Road America.
