Description

1965 FERRARI 275 GTB SHORT NOSE

APPROVED FERRARI CLASSICHE APPLICATION BY FERRARI OF HOUSTON 2016

From the previous sales listing by Fantasy Junction in 2007:

"Introduced at the 1964 Paris Auto Show, the 275 GTB represented significant advances over the 250 GT Lusso that it replaced. The styling was more exciting and rakish, and mechanically, the cars were much more sophisticated. This particular car is of the very first series of these cars, the so called 'short nose' cars with their more aggressive and prominent grilles. It is fitted with the optional Borrani wire wheels, including the spare."

Purchased from the estate of the original owner in 1972, the new owner was an excellent caretaker for nearly 30 years, with the Ferrari undergoing complete disassembly and restoration to show standards. Photos available.

Displayed at FCA events and offered for sale by recognized classic Ferrari experts such as Fantasy Junction, Autosport Designs, and Steve Harris Ferrari before being acquired by our long time Ferrari of Houston client.

Also of note is that although currently titled as a 1966, s/n 07633 is actually a 1965 year of production and is therefore eligible to compete in the 1960-1965 FIA classification.

Ferrari Classiche Certification and extensive engine-out servicing started in Summer 2015 by Ferrari of Houston. Application approved by Ferrariand this 275 GTB is now available to view at our Houston showroom
