1964 Fiat Nuova 500 D.Last full year of the “D” Model, suicide doors and removable hard top.Comes with the optional “long top” that converts down to behind the rear passengers.Remove the sunroof and metal top and install the long sunroof for Summer cruising fun.

Imported from Sicily.

Original engine is 499cc, this has slightly larger cylinders making it a 599cc.

Body work and paint of body and wheels in March of 2018.Wheels were media blasted down and then re-painted fresh.Color is an original 1964 Fiat color, 433 Azzurro Acquamarina.

New tires mounted in March 2018.Tube tires, with plenty of spare tubes.

New front and rear brake drums over the last 2 years.New front wheel bearings.

New steering control arms.

New rear suspension springs.

4 speed synchronized transmission, no double clutching like when original.

12-volt system.This is original, not like the 6-volt VWs.

Comes with fitted car cover.

Lap and shoulder belts infront and rear lap belts installed for safety.

Bought it in 2013 in Italy.Since I’ve owned it, I’ve installed the above and: Sound matting throughout the interior under the carpeting, electric distributor (no points to deal with).Installed a new hardened camshaft.Had the head reconditioned by the Head-Shop in Virginia Beach in 2013.Had most of the cooling metal powder coated black.Installed new generator, voltage regulator, coil, plugs and wires, fuel pump, carburetor upgraded from 26IMB10 to 28IMB1, completely new windshield wiper system.

This is a rare car and very rare to find in this condition in the USA.
