From 1966 through 1980 Fiat manufactured a 2 + 2 convertible sports car called the Sport Spider or later known as just the spider. It was manufactured by Italian Pininfarina and was a front-engine, rear drive automobile designed by Tom Tjaarda. It was introduced at the 1966 Turin Auto show. This particular excellent running and driving example has some pretty decent history with receipts and records dating back to the early 1980's when it was first gone through, mechanically and... cosmetically. Since then the car has not been used as a daily driver and only on nice summer days. It has been serviced and properly stored however, with the restoration now nearing 35 years, there are some cosmetic blemishes in the paint with some shrinking and cracking. There is no evidence of any rot and the interior and top are in excellent condition. Everything is in working order on the car and would make someone an excellent entry level collectable or a excellent starting point for a restoration as everything is there with a excellent running power plant. This is a real head turner and is so much fun to drive.
