The Fiat 600 Multipla was a four-door MPV based on the Fiat 600's drivetrain and Fiat 1100 front suspensions, that sat up to six people in a footprint just 50 cm (19.7 in) longer than the original Mini Cooper and on the same 2 m (78.7 in) wheelbase as the 600 saloon.MechanicalUp for sale is this great 1961 Fiat 600 Multipla that will make someone a fantastic patina ride or full restoration candidate. This 1961 Fiat Multipla is very original and complete even down to the tool kit. 4 Fiat wrenches even though only 2 are shown in the picture. Jack stand, original spare tire and mounting bracket are in place. Engine seems to be original to the car and complete. Also comes with all 4 original hubcaps, original owner’s manual and dealership booklet with matching VIN inscribed inside. Brand new tires just installed for easy transport. Car rolls and moves well and will be an easy pick up for a transport company. Exterior The body is still in its original paint. Some dents and dings in various places around the vehicle but nothing big. Some of these dents can be seen in the photos. There is a little rust in the drivers door that is showing through. (As shown in photo) some rust in the passenger side lower body sill. Tunnels and frame pieces are all in solid shape as can be seen in the photos. Doors all open and close well with the exception of the front passenger door. The latch seems to be stuck but can be opened from the inside with a screw driver. All of the glass is in good shape with no cracks or chips. InteriorInterior is complete with seats, door panels and so on but will clearly need to be reupholstered. This particular model allows the seats to fold down into a bed. All the proper brackets, latches and hinges are present in order to facilitate this.
