Description

Hello...
I have a wonderful little 1972 Fiat 124 Spider. I acquired this from a teacher who bought it for his wife. It was her dream car...until she realized it had a manual transmission and manual choke!
This little bugger is about as cute as a bugs ear...and gets a lot of attention. It has been repainted at some point...wish they would have left the original dark blue alone. It has a new top. It has aftermarket wheels. I have a full set of original rims with the original baby moon hubcaps.
Interior is in very nice condition...with new carpet...aftermarket blue tooth stereo...new wood dash.
Heater works great.
I have quite a few extra odds and ends that go with the car...as well as a repair manual. This little thing runs and drives excellent....everything for the most part works as it should. I had the carburetor rebuilt. I put in some new plugs...have a bunch of other new parts to throw in also...tune up parts.
All the lights work great...seems like when the headlights are on...the blinkers act funny. Will need a little tinkering here and there. I don't think the horn works. Brakes work great....may need bled...but seem to be great. Transmission shifts excellent. I do hear some noise coming from the throwout bearing....but clutch may be needing adjusted...idk. There is also a bushing on the driveline...I believe they call it a pillow block...the rubber bushing needs replaced..it makes a clatter at times while driving.
I disconnected the battery to remove the carb...when I put it back together...for some reason the ignition or alternator light on the rpm guage now stays on...
I believe the wiper motor will need some attention...either replaced or rebuilt would be my guess...wipers do not come on.
This is a very solid little Italian jobby….that would look great in any collection. It seems to have very little rust...some bubbling here and there...but doesn't seem to have any major issues that I can see.
Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding...I can send more detailed pictures at your request
