This car was featured in the October 2006 issue of Street Rodder Magazine, which speaks to the quality of the build and the beautiful appearance of the car. Only 671 miles have gone on the odometer since the last rebuild.
With over $150k in receiptsin hand, the car is being offered for a fraction of the cost of the build.
Finished in gorgeous Fire Popper Red and Champagne paint, thegenuine Henry Ford steel bodysits on a Lobeck's V8 Hot Rod Parts chassis, featuring a Heidt's Hot Rod Shop Mustang II independent front suspension and a 9 inch Ford differential.Air Ride Technologies suspension keeps things level and smooth while motoring down the highway.Under the hood is a GM 350 HO 345 horsepower engine, backed up by a 350 Turbohydramatic transmission mated to a 9" Ford differential.
Exterior styling includes '39 Ford headlights, tail lights, and grille. The powered functional cowl vent provides ventilation. In addition to the power cowl vent, the car features power door poppers, windows, drop-down under-dash switch panel and fuel tank access door in the spacious trunk.
The wheels are Boyd Coddington New Wave units wrapped in BF Goodrich rubber with 17 x 7's in the front and 20 x 9 1/2's in the rear.
The interior and trunk are stitched in beautiful leather upholstery and include custom molded door panels andWise Guys bench seat.
Other features are a Ron Francis Wire Works harness and a Sony sound system featuring a Sony head unit powered by a Thunder 895 MTX amp, Boston Acoustics subwoofer, two 6 x 9 and two 5 1/4" speakers.
There are simply too many modifications on this car to list, but suffice it to say that no detail was left unattended during the build of this gorgeous car.
