Description

I pursued this car a year ago from Memphis. Clean Autocheck showing only three owners in 30 years. The car is very original. Even down to the stock suspension, exhaust. Nothing has been removed or altered mechanically. The report listed one minor incident and it appeared to be the front bumper cover. I removed it to check out bumper and the old cover was cracked. I purchased a new GT bumper cover from Mustangs Unlimited and that is included in the sale. The interior is rather rare, being tan. I had the factory dash pad re worked from Just Dashes. The interior was in good condition, but faded. I replaced the seat covers, carpet, sun visors, sill plates with new pieces from CJ pony. The door panels are original as its the top, as far as I can tell. The car runs great and I have driven it on many sunny days before removing the bumper cover. I wanted to check things out before I sold the car.
The car has the original convertible top boot that is in great condition, tan. The headlights stay on low beam when the car is on and go off when its off, not using the headlight switch. I am not sure if it has daytime running lights or not. They operate normally at night when using the switch. The fog light switch is disconnected and the fog lights and bar were gone when I purchased the car. There is a headlight light on the small console check screen and I assume it from something that was disconnected with the original bumper cover was replaced. Everything works as it should, just no fog lights and the headlight operate is if they are daytime running lights. I replaced all 4 speakers as well and the original radio works.
Its a great car for an older fox body and Oxford White over tan is a nice color combination. Someone had begun removing the convertible top trim and was fairly aggressive basically p pulling two pieces off, not aware that screws held it down. Thankfully, they did not do that with the other larger trim pieces. I removed the rubber, glued on strips on the sides to check out the body. The next step was a new paint job and to replace the luggage rack with a simple rear spoiler and third brake light.
Car runs very well and is perfectly drivable.
