1969 ford mustang convertible
Description
1969 Ford Mustang Convertible presently registered and used as a second car. The Mustang starts, drives well and is very dependable. The engine does not smoke, or consume oil. It runs smooth, idles smooth, and it drives on the freeway very smooth. The transmission performs the same way. The suspension system is tight. The front end has no vibration at any speed and is in excellent operable condition. The interior, as you can see is in need of some updating but overall is presentable as it is. All the gauges are operable and accurate., except for the clock and the radio. The car does not overheat. Even in Tucson when it was very hot in the summer it operated at normal temperature. The body needs a lot of work. There is cancer as shown in the photos. The outer rockers are in good shape, the inner rockers have cancer. The wheel wells, between the body panels and the wheel well have cancer. The rear floors have cancer at the edge near the inner rockers. The drivers side floor panels are the worst. The convertible top is in very good condition. The tires are new within a thousand miles of use, all four of them. In summary, mechanically this car is in A minus condition. The outer body panels are in C plus condition. The cancer is an F. The car can be driven as it is and I would not hesitate to take it across the country driving. The brake system is in very good condition. It has front disc brakes and rear drums. The electrical system is in excellent shape, everything works except the hi beam bulb on the the right headlight needs to be replaced. The car is located in Huntington Beach California and I am selling this for my daughter. I am very familiar with this car. I am the one who inspected the car before she bought it. I was very impressed with the mustang on all the mechanical matters except for the body. She has owned and driven this car for the past four years as a leisure vehicle. It was purchased here in Arizona. If you have any questions please call me. Tony- 520-490-5473. I live in Tucson but the car is with my daughter in California and she still drives it.
