You are looking at an extremely nice 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 289 automatic. This car runs and drives great and the power steering makes it handle like a dream. The interior in this car is beautiful and is original. This car was restored years back so it is an older restoration but from the looks of it, you would think it was done recently.

It has won many trophies at local shows including the top award at the Friends of Coal auto Fair a few years back.

This is such a quality car. Look at all of the pictures in the link above. Look at how nice the body gaps are, the panels are smooth and straight, and the interior is one of the nicest original interiors I have ever seen. The seats are very firm, backseat ir beautiful, fold down seat works great. Thuis is just simply an immaculate car.

Engine:

The engine in the car is the original. The 2V intake was upgraded to an aluminum Edelbrock 4v intake. The carb was also upgraded. It has a new starter, new point, new condenser, new solenoid, and new plug wires etc. It still have the factory heads and exhaust manifolds. The block is 6A27 which dates out to be the original.

Transmission:

C4 Automatic believed to be the original. Shifts good and smooth.

AC:

Car was a factory air car and still retains all of the factory AC components which is very rare.

Interior:

All original pony interior. Very rare color. Aqua and White crinkle Pony interior. All original and almost flawless. Carpet could use a good cleaning but the everything else is great. Floor shift console, AC, foldown rear very impressive interior.

Body:

The body of this car is very straight and very solid. The car does not need any rust repair that can be seen. The paint on the car is beautiful and very shiny. All of the chrome trim on the car is very nice and shiny. The glass is very nice.All of the doors shut effortlessly, and the trunk lid and hood also line up great and shut perfectly.

All of the lights work on the car. All of the gauges work on the car. The car needs a new temp sending unit because the temp gauge sometimes work and sometimes don't. All of the light work as in fog lights, interior lights, headlights, taillights, turn signals etc. The center console panels around the shifter needs some attention as it wont stay down. easy fix. The drivers side exhaust has an exhaust leak. The transmission shifts good but sometimes will jump a little. Never when driving only when its cold it seems. The paint on the hood looks great and shines great, but at one angle you can see some paint popping but only under a fluorescent light.Cant see outside.

You can fire this car up and drive it down the road with ease. This is a car that you can jump in and take to the local shows and win a trophy with. Very Beautiful Car.

Wheels and tires:

Styled pony wheels with like new tires. They look great and shine great.
