The Mustang Grande model was an effort by Ford to spruce up sales by taking some of the upscale features from other cars (like the substantial wood grain Mach 1 styled details) into a nice daily driver V8 Coupe.
The seats are ORIGINAL and were the kinds found in the Fastbacks with the High back headrest. These seats are a nice Cloth/Leather combination, and are ALSO original to the car. Added some Cragars and racing slicks to get the car to beast mode...but can transfer back to some conventional tires if you choose.
Car is equipped with a nice running 302. Loaded with other features like "Luxury Interior seats" A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Emergency Brakes, Wood Grain Glove Box, Stereo, Wood Grain Dash, Rim Blow Steering Wheel. Data tag pictured
Car has 57128 miles on her. Well Maintained throughout but does have a few spots of isolated rust. However, no areas are structural. Some still visible. Some have been redone. As you can see the trunk drops are in GREAT shape as are the LOWER QUARTERS. The door bottoms are also good. One of the door windows needs aligning. A torque box had a change out. THATS IT!! ALL FRAME RAILS and ALL SUPPORT AREAS are ORIGINAL + ROCK SOLID.

This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Some vehicles may be considered “matching numbers” vehicles.
Note: This column does not represent a “100 Point” or “# 1” vehicle*.
* A “100 Point” or “# 1” vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concours judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate regulated facility.">High
