1901 Ford Horseless Carriage Replica by Vintage reproductions
Description
This is a STREET LEGAL WITH TITLE Horseless Carriage Replica of a 1901 Ford by Vintage reproductions of Ft. Lauderale Fl. made about 1974. The company made these from the mid 60's until the 1975. It has a 8 hp Tucumseh motor with electric start, tiller steering and rear drum brake brakes. The body is made of plywood which looks good from a few feet back but there is some lamination in spots which will need repair if you prefer. Tires are good but it may need a tube or two. Glass has a minor BB chip & tiller handle is cracked and will need welded. The biggest problem is the latter replica's had gears in the rear end (instead of the direct drive sprocket) which often broke as this one has. So it will need new gears, pictured, or redo the axle. It last ran about 2003 until the rear broke. Since then it has been in my living room for many years. We just removed it by dismantling to get it out the door so it is not fully put back together yet. This one is all original with good looking paint and real nice roof. Solid chassis. Need some work to get it going. It does have a clean Michigan title. Fits in the back of a pickup truck or full size van. Buyer to pickup or can deliver for a fee. Full payment within 10 days NO paypal excepted on this auction. Can store for 30 days.
