Description

This is a 1968 Ford F=250 Stepside factory 4X4 pick up with 8 foot bed. It is powered by a 360 V-8 with 4 speed manual transmission, the transfer case has high low range. The truck has only 30,749 original miles on it. Unfortunatelyit is rusted badly. Look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding. The fenders, front and rear are rusted through, as well as the cab mounts. The boards in the bed are also rotted away. There was a revolvinglight on the roof that is now missing. There was also a Meyers salt spreader on the tailgate, that is included but I do not know the condition of it.The truck runs and drives, and has a working Fisher power angle plow on it, that was purchased and installed by the Ford dealer when the truck was new. The truck does not have power steering or brakes. The truck does have a title. The truck was originally ordered by my father's company from Matthews Ford in Paoli PA. He bought it for plowing, and the truck is geared low, probably 411 gears or so, it was used sparingly, always keeping it in the garage, He sold it to Aronimink Golf Club (where I worked) in Newtown Square PA around 1983. It was always garaged kept there as well. The club sold it to my friends at Exton Collision in 1998, It was only used to plow their lot and never licencedsince then. But it was left outside, and that is when the rust set in. The truck is located at ECS Auto Body, Route 30 and Whitford RD in Exton PA. I am selling the truck for the estate of the ownerof the body shop who recently passed away. I will try to answer questions to the best of my ability, but I honestly don't know much more about the condition of the truck other then what I have posted. The truck can be seen by appointment only because the body shop is now closed for business. If you are interested in seeing the truck, please contact me and view the truck before bidding. Please do not assume anything about the condition of this half century old truck. Payment in cash or certified check at time of vehicle pick up please.
