1962 Ford Falcon 2 Door Station Wagon
Description
Selling car because I do not have the necessary time to really take care of it. Vehicle is very nice, as it was restored by an elderly gentleman in approximately 1999, however there are a few areas it does need someattention. It has a 200 inline 6, that until last summer ran, I however had several problems with the carburetor's float sticking and flooding the engine with fuel, this washed the rings out, so oil consumption is excessive. Carburetor is currently off of vehicle however, I am confident it would run if reassembled, but the engine really does need rebuilt. Alternately, this would make an excellent candidate for an engine swap. 2 speed automatic transmission shifts fine, and car is very comfortable to run down the highway in. It needs rear brake cylinders. If I were building it to drive and enjoy, I would recommend all new brake system, as this car still has the single bowl master cylinder. Cosmetically, vehicle is okay, though some of the weatherstrip should be taken care of, there is a wrinkle in the front bumper, a crease in the front of the drivers' fender, and a bit of a fold in the body behind the driver's rear wheel well where it was set down without a wheel once. This auction is for the car, however there are many extras that I have accumulated intended for it, that the buyer may want. Transport is buyer's responsibility, vehicle will need trailered. Thank you, and good luck bidding!
