Description

Thank you for viewing the auction for my 1980 Ford Thunderbird.

This T-Bird runs great and drives very well. IT has a strong and peppy 302 with Holley 2barrel. Motor is smooth and quiet. Uses no oil. C-4 trans shifts smooth and tight. Suspension is tight and steers as it should. Breaks are strong and brakes smoothly with no pull.In short all major mechanicals are good (including the retractable headlights work). I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Body and undercarriage have no rust whatsoever. It does need sanding, prep, and paint (as pictures show) but the body is 100% straight. Undercarriage is also clean. Floors are good. Frame is straight and solid. This Thunderbird has been well cared for throughout its life.

There are several minor mechanicals that need attention..All climate control functions work properly but the AC needs charged. The blower motor works buts is very noisy and needs replaced. The heater core is not leaking but needs replaced. Stereo does not work.

Overall this is a very solidT-Bird that needs little to be a daily driver. Ford only made this body for 3 years (1980,1981, and 1982). It is quite unique. I am a T-Bird and Lincoln fan . I really like this car but recently bought a beautiful 71 T-Bird as well as a 76 Lincoln Mark 1V. I can't keep them all so the 80 is up for auction. This is a no reserve auction with a low $750 starting bid.

Feel free to email or call (240-750-7040) with any questions. My name is Tom.

Once again thank you for viewing the auction for my 1980 Ford T-Bird.
