THIS IS REALLY A PARTS TRUCK. WHEEL LIFT IS OPERATIONAL ON IT WITH NO MAJOR LEAKS IN HYDRAULICS. WIRING FOR WHEEL LIFT NEEDS TO BE FIXED UP IS AND CENTER PIN SLOPPY. MAJOR THING IT NEEDS IS NEW CAB. CAB IS BEYOND REPAIR, ALREADY BEEN LOOKED AT BY A FEW WELDERS. MAJOR HOLES IN DRIVERS CAB CORNER, ROCKER, AND BEHIND SEAT. BOOM IS OPERATIONAL WITH A 12000 LB ELECTRIC WINCH. I HAVE A DEEP CYCLE BATTERY ON BACK FOR WINCH NOT TIED INTO TRUCK ELECTRIC. I JUST CHARGED BATTERY AT NIGHT. WHEEL LIFT IS ELECTRIC OVER HYDRAULIC.
OTHER BAD THINGS IS MOTOR RUNNING ON 7 OUT OF 8 CYLINDERS. THINK IT BLEW A VALVE OR PUSHROD. MOTOR WAS REPLACED MANY YEARS AGO AND WAS A JASPER. CLUTCH IS GOOD AND WAS JUST CHANGED, BUT CLUTCH PLASTIC LINE BLEW OUT. NEEDS A NEW LINE FROM MASTER TO SLAVE, BUT MASTER AND SLAVE WERE CHANGED IN LAST MONTH.
NEEDS TIRES AND OTHER MAINTENANCE. FRONT BRAKES AND ROTORS WERE REPLACED IN LAST 5000 MILES.
THIS WOULD BE IDEAL FOR A PARTS TRUCK. BY MY BEST GUESS THE WRECKER BODY IS A 70"s NOMAR RETRIEVER AND THE WHEEL LIFT IS 80'S HOLMES ADDON. MISSING ONE OF THE WHEEL LIFT LEGS, BUT DO HAVE THE L ARMS AND STRAPS.
i WOULD LOOK AT YOUR BUYING THE TRUCK FOR THE BODY AND WHEEL LIFT....AND GETTING THE TRUCK AS BONUS.
